It has been a few days since, and the owner came out, assessed the situation, called the plumber and it is a good thing that I don’t have to go anywhere, now, and while the sink in both the bathroom and kitchen are operational, the shower is not, so I have used the time wisely to catch up on paperwork, travel arranging, both client and personal. The plumber came out and give his opinion and apparently in the next day or two, he will come out and get the problem solved. In the meantime, and when I told Rosa this story, she said, it was a sign that I was supposed to be in Italy!!! I do not disagree and will have time to get ready for 9 days from now when, yes, I am returning to Italy to see her to celebrate the 3rd year of our relationship, which is truly crazy to think about, given the craziness of the world. It was meant to be. Of course, I think she also meant for this to be more permanent and we are working on that. Otherwise, last week was like any other week, although, not having the stress of going to the store, remember, I ended that relationship, I am truly focused on the task at handoff taking care of my clients, my relationship and me. I am caught up in many ways, and glad as the next 4 to 6 months will be very hectic and could be even more so. I know I will be leaving New Hampshire at some time, but will be in Europe for 7 weeks in the 2 ½ months, a week in Puerto Rico, give or take and back in Minnesota to tie up those loose ends. Then, this summer and hopefully beyond, I will be in Italy where, I want to be. I have very much gotten used to my nomadic life and the way that nomadic life will change is if I am with Rosa, because all roads lead to Rome and home is where the heart is and my heart is truly with her. Going forward this week, should be a continuation of what I have been doing since I returned from Iceland and using my time wisely to tie up loose ends here in New England and I am very much prepared to move forward into this next stage of my life, one with many possibilities, and also very exciting to think about. I am privileged to be in an amazing, vibrant, and resilient industry and one that allows me to not have to be in one location. It is one where I can work from anywhere for clients traveling anywhere, as long as I have internet and my technology. I thrive on weathering the storm throughout all the craziness of the world and have come out stronger in the experience. What déjà vu experiences have you had. Please share if you care to!!!
Stay safe, stay healthy and as always, thank you for your support of my crazy little world and of my small business. It is truly appreciated, and as always, I am interested in your thoughts, comments, questions and adding to the discourse is always appreciated be in on the site itself or on Facebook or wherever you read this!!!
