​Weathering the Storm with the WP #11

I was trying to think of something to write about this week and truly was having writer’s block. There has been so much in the news, actually, all the time, mostly bad, but some good things to continue to be cautiously optimistic. The European Union seems to be getting its act together and their parliament in discussing, at the very least, the idea of a vaccine passport and other ways to open up all the countries of the EU with the hope of opening up by summer which is still to be determined. Yes, some member nations, Croatia, already open and Greece, opening sometime in May, always subject to change, but that is a start. The Wandering Puffin, of course, has a professional, as well as a personal interest in this happening, safely, but sooner rather than later.

Since this edition of the blog really is simply a rambling of thoughts, I wanted to share something I wrote way back in 1993-1994 as a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, School of Education working on my Masters, when I was still a licensed teacher and was attending a class called Teaching Writing in the Elementary School. I wrote a number of pieces, in a collection which I will share along the way, called Chaos, but it was interesting to reflect on these writings of 27 years ago and where I am now. The piece is called Travel Questions and of course, I have always been a traveler, but as I am in my 60th year of life, how my life has evolved and my time in the travel industry, now approaching 25 years in the industry.
