​Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are about a far east as you can go and still be in Europe or are they in Asia. They are considered Europe, but being in the Caucuses, they could be both. These countries have an amazing history that go back millennia and as a travel package, the highlights can be done in about 11 to 12 days. Of course, they have amazing cultures, foods, and wines, some of the oldest varietals in the world and although right now, with the issues of Ukraine in the region, they are places with amazing experiences to have. If you are adventurous spirit and looking for a region that offers a wealth of experiences, and three countries which can be done in the same itinerary, perhaps this is for you.

I am not sure if you have been paying attention to the experiences, I have been sharing over the last couple of months on the destinations blog for inspiration to the next place you may want to be and there will always be new ideas of which I can arrange your travels. Of course, Iceland is a place I have loved to be over the past 25 years and in that time, been there about 20 times, and when next, who knows, but an opportunity to share that experience is always in the works with the group experience I created for your viewing pleasure, and it was a unique Wandering Puffin original which may still lift off the ground. 
However, this week is also a very special place, and I am looking to create a group or two next year, yes, 2023 this time, in the later summer, early fall time frame, to experience Croatia and its amazing wonders from south and central Dalmatia and Istria and other wonderful places like its somewhat underrated capital city of Zagreb, a very worthwhile visit. I have created an experience for a couple, a family or a group that will give you a unique look at this special country and know you will come home amazed. We are looking at several dates for next year and asking for your interest in this type of trip which I will be a part of along with my very good Croatian friend and colleague, so you will be getting an amazing local who is passionate about his country along as well. 
If enough people show interest and sign up, then we may run two or perhaps three of these experiences during that time frame and truly enjoy what has become one of my favorite destinations in the world, so this time around, we are asking in a short survey about your interest in this type of trip. Items like the airfare, travel insurance and perhaps pre and post experiences will be additional, and we can figure those in your final quotes as people will come from different air cities. The dates for Croatia which are hoping to fill will happen on one or more of the given dates. If enough people show interest, we will follow up with you in a month’s time, if you have checked off a preferential date and shared your email address. Pricing is not given yet as this will depend on how many people join and these will be small group tours, not large motorcoach tours. Again, we are looking to create small groups for these experiences, but these can be customized to individuals as well. 
As a side note, and this will make things easier, as Croatia is going to the Euro next year, so like its neighbors Slovenia, Austria and Italy, the currency will be the same and if you on doing an extension to any of these places, the Wandering Puffin can arrange this for you also.
