After a short pause to reflect and regroup, I’m thrilled to relaunch with fresh energy and a focus on sharing what it truly means to be a professional travel advisor—the joys, challenges, and adventures of this incredible industry.

But after nearly 30 years in the business, I know travel planning is an art: a blend of deep knowledge, strong connections, and genuine passion. Wandering Puffin just stepped into its 19th year on September 29, and we’ve weathered many travel landscapes—domestic, international, and everything in between. I’ve traveled extensively myself (and now operate from the Old World, having emigrated July 4, 2024)—because firsthand knowledge of destinations and experiences is essential. Sure, you can look up facts and figures online; but travel is about education, connection, and lived experience that goes far beyond a screen.
